Crochet Fever

I just discovered crocheting with fabric scraps. Oh boy! Here's my first rug.

Its great fun and so fast! This took me about 4 hours total.
I'm totally cleaning out my linen closet for more sheets to rip up!

Working at the Philadelphia Zoo

As many of you already know, I'm working at the Philadelphia Zoo this season. Basically taking tickets at the entrance, or running the Carousel. While the work itself isn't very exciting, just the fact I'm at the Zoo makes it a great experience. Pretty much all the folks working there are cheerful and friendly and have made my first two weeks fun.

Seasons Greetings Everyone!

Its that special time of year, and I wanted to wish everyone a loving and joyous end of the year celebrations and a wonderful new year full of promise and hope.
