Yellow and Ladybugs - So cheerful!
What's more cheerful than the color yellow and Ladybugs? This purse would brighten anyone's day.
I have been mostly working in my little back yard. Its tiny, but it is that time of year to get stuff planted, and the old stuff trimmed up and looking good. The yards off to a good start. Already the blueberries are bluing up, and the strawberries have one pink berry I'm watching! Hope I get to eat that strawberry before the squirrels do!

Foldover Clutch
I'm more or less pleased with this little clutch. Mostly that its over, I didn't plan it well and ended up ripping it apart at least 3 times. It would have been better had I not had to cut off all the birds, but maybe next time will be the charm. I do like the snaps and the zipper and the lime green piece.

It would have been nice if there was a more than one whole bird. |

Say It Out Loud, Watermelon Wallets!
Its fun to say out loud, Watermelon Wallets, Watermelon Wallets, Watermelon Wallets.....
But I digress, went to the Fabric Warehouse today for more zippers. And of course, some inexpensive, weird fabric. Today's fun, watermelon stripes and spots.

Batman Returns
I made a batman wallet the other day and was so pleased with it that I made three more!!
My dad liked the original so much he's decided he'd try it out for a change pouch.
I've also been having my morning coffee in my little backyard patio.
Don't you just love Spring? What's better than seeing who's gonna pop up next!

Further Adventures in Purse Making
Okay, I have the little purses down at this point. I really like the recent one with the pink piping and the shorter handles. The large bag is a little slouchy, its a knit material so it doesn't crisp up like the cotton. But its a good size I think (8" x 6.5"), and the portions are good. Nice roomy pockets on the outside and a couple pockets in the inside.
All in all a good days work.
